It's easy! If funds are loaded on your Edu-Xtras card you can use it to order prescribed textbooks online at Vanschaik.com in six simple steps.

1. Select your items, add them to your basket and proceed to check out. If you are not yet registered, the system will now prompt you to do so. This only takes a few minutes.
2. Select the Eduloan payment option.

   

3. You can only pay for prescribed textbooks using the online Eduloan payment option. If you have selected non-prescribed items the website will prompt you to either choose another payment method or to remove the non-approved items from your basket.
4. Enter your billing and delivery details.
5. Once your billing and delivery details are confirmed you will be prompted to dial *120*939*002# on your cell phone.
   • You will then receive an SMS prompting you to enter your Eduloan account number.
   • Next you will receive an SMS prompting you to enter your PIN number.
   • After that you will receive an SMS prompting you to enter the Rand value of the amount to be paid.
   • You will then receive an SMS prompting you to enter the Cents value of the amount to be paid.
   • Finally you will receive an SMS giving you the Eduloan reference number which needs to be entered in the space provided on the website.
6. Your name and student number will now be displayed. If correct, press the continue button to complete your order.
