Returns, Exchange and Refund Policy

This returns, exchange and refund policy only applies to books and other items purchased from vanschaik.com and not on books bought from any other Van Schaik Bookstore.

You may return any book purchased from vanschaik.com within 14 days of dispatch, if the book was:

• Incorrectly supplied,
• faulty (missing pages, miss-bound or miss-printed)
• or damaged.

If the book was incorrectly supplied, faulty or damaged, we will try our best to exchange it for the correct one, depending on the availability of the product.

If not available we will refund your money, including the shipping cost, as soon as we have received your return and verified that everything is in order.

All returns must be accompanied by a Returns Authorization obtained by email from the vanschaik.com Call Centre vsorders@vanschaik.com.

Please place Return and your Order number in the subject heading and state the reason for returning the book.
Upon receiving written confirmation from vanschaik.com, the book/s must be returned in the original condition in a sealed parcel using suitable packaging material, together with the invoice / packing slip to vanschaik.com.

Please note that no interest will be paid on any owed amounts.

Refunds will be effected using the same payment method initially used by the customer.

For all Direct Deposit payments please email us your following deposit details:

• Name of the account holder
• Bank name
• Branch name
• Branch code and
• Bank account number

If you paid by credit card the money will be paid back to your credit card account.

You will be notified once the refund has been paid via email.
