Christian Literature Fund (CLF) was founded in 1957 by a group of missionaries and distributes Christian reading material among the different language and cultural groups of Southern Africa. Apart from the variety of free Christian pamphlets, CLF stocks a wide selection of Christian books with a focus on Gods mission in the world, as well as material for use by churches in Africa.

Van Schaik Bookstore has a proud heritage as one of the oldest bookstores in Southern Africa and reached their 100-year milestone in 2014. It is arguably Southern Africas leading academic bookstore chain with more than 70 stores located in South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland and Namibia.

The CLF ministry relies on partnerships through which they aim to play a supportive role in churches and their activities.

This partnership kicks off with dedicated shelf space for CLF in 24 of Van Schaiks bookstores and will include CLF publications in all their product categories. Furthermore, CLFs free pamphlets on social issues will be displayed on spinners and be freely available to the public.

By utilizing the Van Schaik Bookstore footprint, CLF will be closer to their target audiences, using the outlets country wide to serve Christian readers.

This strategic partnership will be beneficial to both parties in terms of audience reach, respective markets and boasting a wider product range.

CLF also takes comfort from the fact that Van Schaik Bookstore represents a highly respected company with acceptable business ethics and morals.

The official partnership between CLF and Van Schaik Bookstore comes into effect on 1 March 2020.
