The *Higher Certificate in Creative Development supports students to access a Degree or Diploma in the fields of creative communications or alternatively to enter internships, learnerships or entry-level positions in the creative communications industries. The programme therefore focuses on knowledge and skills in the theories and principles of brand building and creative communications as encountered in visual communications, multimedia design and copywriting.

The focus is on conceptual creative development to provide the balanced skill set critical for successful further studies and employment. The programme is furthermore designed with a balance of theoretical, experiential and practical components to facilitate students� academic growth - in particular their critical, strategic and conceptual thinking.

The *Higher Certificate in Creative Development is a one-year full-time programme.
